A Day in my Life

A Day in my Life

My disturbing alarm goes off at 9:00 am. Obviously like always I am in absolutely no mood to get up and start the day. But I have to! Generally, when I wake up, the mood is bad, but once I start getting ready and have a peaceful, long bath I am completely fine. After I bathe, I start off with my online school work. My irritating and awfully annoying school work lasts for about two or three hours. Sometimes I am still left with more which gets really agitating! But actually school work is our first priority. Then comes the scrumplicious (scrumptious + delicious) lunch. After lunch is my so called ‘rest hour’. During this period, I either watch youtube videos, read, or talk to my friends (two of them do not even live in India!). Being realistic the ‘rest hour’ happens to change into ‘rest hours’. It is after a long while that I realise that my ‘rest hours’ are over, and that I need to get back to my leftover work! That is when my mood twirls and swirls into grumpiness.
Soon it is the time to go out to my beautiful front yard and play badminton with my brother, and it is quite obvious that we fight while playing! We quarrel over every point and the game seems to last forever. As soon as the clock strikes seven, I immediately go to my room and relax. Sometimes I like to play games or just about anything that pops into my head. Soon I realise that dinner, the best meal of the day is ready to be eaten. My mother makes new things which I can’t wait to eat. After dinner is over, we walk in the balcony and just talk, talk, talk till our mouth aches.
Then I thump onto my bed which happens to produce the sound of ‘thud’. Oh! And it is definitely not because of my weight but because of the force with which I jump onto my bed. Then I proceed over to the next step which is basically sleep!  But it is not over yet because my elder brother has to wake me up to ask me if I am asleep, and that is a sign for him to sleep as well because  after all he cannot talk to me when I am sleeping!

  11. Cutie pie, I enjoyed your writing. Your being realistic is undoubted, as your roots, from maternal and paternal sides both have the finest form honesty. It's good to see your observation powers "rest hour" into "rest hours" Keep it up. Stay blessed.
